The Tree Autographs were the fourth series to emerge. The first three series are named for the substrates, be they black, white or colored. This series is named for the subject. Just as in Nature, every Tree is unique, no matter how closely it may resemble its neighbors. For this series, I used dimensional acrylic paints to place one tree on each card. In exploring mononochromatic palettes, I find the different textures and tones of each color to be subtle, yet endlessly fascinating. Most of these Trees are representational and stylized, though they may veer over into the abstract, here & there.
