SONDRA LONDON has received generous praise from established authors for True Vampires, a nonfiction true-crime thriller published by Feral House in October of 2003. These are excerpts from the comments that appear on the book jacket.
Colin Wilson (The Outsider): SONDRA LONDON, best known as a fine criminologist, here reveals herself as a remarkable historian. Her account is destined to become a classic of the literature.Brad Steiger (The Werewolf Book): TRUE VAMPIRES is not merely the creation of an imaginative author who wants to give us a good scare, but the product of a darn good investigative journalist.Harold Schechter (The A-Z Encyclopedia of Serial Killers): Even the most widely read true crime aficionado will learn something new and shocking from virtually every page of this astonishing volume. SONDRA LONDON has produced a classic of the genre.Michael Newton (The Encyclopedia of Serial Killers): Prodigious research and compelling prose make TRUE VAMPIRES SONDRA LONDON's most impressive work to date.Jack Olsen (Misbegotten Son): Connoisseurs of true crime will find TRUE VAMPIRES almost too good for the genre. SONDRA LONDON has always been a superb journalist and writer. TRUE VAMPIRES is her best.Maury Terry (The Ultimate Evil): An informative, chilling look deep inside a dangerous psychological subculture most of us wish didn't exist. In TRUE VAMPIRES, SONDRA LONDON travels a harrowing road many would fear to tread.Clifford Linedecker (The Vampire Killers): SONDRA LONDON has written an absolutely absorbing read. WINTER 2006
This website
is the only authorized source of information about
Sondra London.
The sobriquet "Queen of Serial Killer Journalism"
was attached to Sondra London upon publication of the article
shown above. This was the first time anyone
called Sondra London the "Queen" of anything. At the time of
publication, it was readily apparent that Sondra London's published work
with serial killers was unique and extensive enough to merit
such a distinction.
Subsequently, a black PR campaign to
discredit London's work expertly altered public perception by spuriously
reporting
that London was "known as" the Queen of Serial Killer Groupies.
Sondra London is not now, nor has she ever been, a "groupie" of any kind.
Her contact with convicted felons has been pursuant to her research, through which London has obtained and published a series of murder confessions and assisted law enforcement in closing cases,
despite enduring an unprecedented unconstitutional persecution orchestrated
through the State of Florida.
The damning characterization is still being energetically disseminated,
and as a result,
a web search produces a plethora of blatantly false defamatory "information."
To settle the matter, Sondra London states here and now, via
this venue,
the sole authorized proprietary website, that she is not the "Queen" of anything.
Sondra London is a free-lance investigative journalist, doing original in-depth research and publishing exclusive stories.
Today, Sondra London is less interested in crime and punishment than she is in video production and multimedia web design.
For years, requests for interviews have been routinely declined.
Serious inquiries are conveyed
with all due respect
through the usual channels.
