A man's belief,
given sufficient
tender, loving care,
soon becomes
his illusion.

GREAT BOOK.
Why isn't it a movie?

The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart

This is the story of a bored psychiatrist who lives his increasingly chaotic life according to the throw of the dice. Despite having been optioned by Paramount Pictures in 1972, it has yet to hit the big screen. Nicolas Cage, Jack Nicholson and Richard Gere have been desperate to play the lead. Bruce Willis was so keen he once asked management if he could send in a videotape of his near faultless dice-shaking technique.
